A spacey/unreal feeling every day that is worse in social situations.
Some nausea
Extreme lethargy/over sleeping.
Pressure over the eyes every day/ a dull headache.
she has a binge eating problem and 6 stone overweight… an therefore doesnt like herself at all. There hs been no othr reason for these symptoms so do you thnk they could be because of the weight and depressive feelings towards her self image?

I think the foods we eat really effect how we feel. I know when i eat alot of junk food i feel tired and run down.
Although these could be symtoms of another illness, i would go see the doctor and explain how your feeling.

To be honest it sounds like it could be a mixture of the two. Improper nutrition can cause all those symptoms as can depression. I think they go hand in hand with each other. If she were to go to a G.P to start tackling this then they may well suggest an antidepressant in order to address the depression. The theory here will be that she will be more motivated to loose weight if she is happier.
This happened to me – but i piled on the pounds after going on antidepressants – but it was later found I have Bipolar disorder – not as straight forward as clinical depression unfortunately…never mind

I would firstly recommend you friend go visit her doctor, straightaway.
If you would like to learn more about the symptoms of anxiety disorders/depression, go visit the site below and follow the links – there is also a good little video on there.
Best of luck.

Possibly, but I would lean more toward an overdose of chemicals in the foods she eats.
Face it, our processed food is loaded with chemicals, and most of us have a sensitivity to them. She is overweight, which means it is all stored in the fat.
She should do a detox routine and eat nothing but fresh fruit and veggies for a few days and see if she feels better.
Did you know that we actually become addicted to these chemicals that are making us feel like crap? Vicious circle.

Sounds like diabetes, seriously.
