How Long Sid It Take You To Get Your Flat Tummy Back After Given Birth?

Posted on | 十一月 29, 2009 | 20 Comments

I have given birth 8 weeks ago and I am quite slim and I did not put on mch weight at all during my pregnancy. I was back to my pre-pregnancy jeans 3 days after given birth.
Obviously I am really greatful for it as I know a lot of mummies struggle to get their body back in shape but I still have a little tummy (a bit of flab) I am just wondering how long it usually takes?
Add detail: I am breastfeeding.

if you can get what you want, how about searching the result in the following search box,i strongly believe that you can get what you want.

It’s unlikely that your stomach will ever be totally flat again without a mega work out each day – which you don’t have time or energy for with a new born! Most women are left with a little line of flab just below the belly button. My friend refers to it as the ‘cuddle mi humpf’

3 months and still waiting. I must confess that I really do not have time for exercising.

That flab is excess skin that is not going to ever go away. While it used to bother me im not bothered by it anymore. As like you i lost my preggo weight all within 2 weeks and also it’s worth it having a flabby belly.

Took me about a year, but then the skin is looser but I don’t think mine will ever go back to what it was, but I have a beautiful little girl and a lil boy on the way so doesn’t matter one bit :)

Breastfeeding definately helps you lose weight quicker and without the hard work.lol. I breastfeed and like yourself was in my pre-pregnancy clothes a few days after birth. I still have that tiny bit of flab beneath the bely button and i do hundreds of sit up per day. I guess it just depends on the person if they ever get back in shape or not. But it can happen. May be just not to me

My daughter is 7 weeks and I too have that tummy flab. Not sure when it will go away. I just recently started a workout routine…but I’m sure it will take some time.
It’s all worth it though…. a little tummy flab means nothing when I look at my baby girl :)
    Good Luck!!

Not to be rude, but I don’t see all the fuss about getting pre pregnancy weight off. My son will be 13 and I still have some flab on my stomach. I don;t care…..

It took my wife about 5 weeks b/c she was muscular in the first place. But she put on 46 lbs.

I had a c-section when i had my daughter 13 months ago, before getting pregnant i was a size 8 with the flattest & hardest tummy i’d ever had, i was so proud i wore tiny tops to show it off. During pregnancy i gained 4 stone & after birth my belly hung so low & saggy i cried.
Over the past 13 months i’ve not had time to workout properly due to caring for lil one, but i’ve got down to a size 8/10 & wearing pre pregnancy clothes. My tummy, although flat, has a certain amount of excess skin which just won’t go.It bugs me & im hoping as soon as i have time i can go back to my 250 sit ups a day & dancing, which is how i got a flat tummy before.

I have never got my figure completly back as my figure changed when I had my baby. I now have 3 children and love my rounded tummy and hips – they are a sign of what my body produced – 3 wonderful, healthy children.

Heh heh. I’ll let you know when I get it back. :)
That muscle was stretched a WHOLE lot. Tummy exercises are going to be a must, but I think most folks never go quite back to what they were.
The toddler years will help you get back in shape. Run little guy run!

its very hard to get what you had back, i was still in my maternity wear 9 months after having my son, who is now 3 and a half, i’m still struggling to get back into my size 10, but i am happy,” ish ”anyway, healthy diet and exercises, but easier said than done i think …

Mine took 8 years, because I kept having babies, after the last, about a year, as it had taken a hammering!
Now it is pretty flat, and people do comment, oh look at that, she can’t have 3 kids!
Have patience, and the breast feeding is good!

My stomach was flat again at one week post partum.
I didn’t do anything to make it that way.
If it makes anyone feel better, it’s covered in stretchmarks ;)
