What’s Key To Slimming Your Legs? Diet Or Exercise?

Posted on | 十一月 26, 2009 | 3 Comments

Hi! I have a pretty good upper body and overall body but my legs and butt could be slimmer. I’m not fat though and I look skinny from a distance.
I’ve tried eating healthy for the past month, walking daily/running, I get enough sleep but I can’t seem to lose weight on my lower body and it’s killing me. Any help please?

if you can get what you want, how about searching the result in the following search box,i strongly believe that you can get what you want.

maybe your legs are just the way God made them to be
find more flattering pants and be content with who you are
however if you want to tone your legs try the ’stairs exercise’
its brutal, but it works: walk up and down the stairs at a good pace for 10 mins a day

I am in the same boat you are. It sounds to me like you are off to a great start. But you need to increase your cardio. Use the FITT principle when choosing workouts.
Frequency- increase how often you do cardio
Intensity- do more hi impact rather than low
    Time- do it for longer
Type- mix it up- running, rowing, bicycling, elyptical, stairmaster
My first suggestion would be to get a friend that also wants to lose weight to agree to help you. That way you can both be accountable to eachother, you can help to keep eachother on track and stay motivated. Secondly, you and your friend should join a gym. Choose a combination of classes to attend. Start out with cardio 4-6 days a week, weight training every other day, and stretching every day. The third thing you need to adress is diet. I am a firm believer that 90% of the way you look is the way you eat. Make a commitment to yourself to eat healthy foods that your body can use. 45-65% of your caloric intake should be from carbs, 15-25% from fats, 20-25% protiens.
Losing weight is not an easy thing to do. It takes a deficiency or surplus of 3500 calories to gain or loose one pound. So remember that when making a work out plan and diet plan.
    Tips and Tricks
1.Drink lots of ice cold water. Cold water raises motabolism and burns calories. Also, when you are thirsty, you may confuse hunger for thirst.
2.Take multi vitamins. Vitamins will also reduce appetite.
3.Switch to non- fat or low fat everything.
4..Practice good posture. It burns more calories and actually tones your abs.
Remember: Nothing will ever taste as good as being skinny feels and when you feel like giving up during a workout or maybe just skipping a day don’t. Mind over matter.
