Does Anyone Have A Good Research Question For My Psychology Literature Review Module Next Semester?

Next semester I am doing a module that involves choosing my own topic to investigate. I have to come up with a research question to answer. The essay is 6000 words long. The topics I am interested in are Depression, Schizophrenia, Smoking, Obesity, Body Esteem/Body Dissatisfaction, and Eating Disorders. Any ideas will be most appreciated! I have 3 possible research questions so far but I would like some more just incase none of these are suitable. I want it to be original and I want something whereby there is plenty of available literature that will help me answer the question. Serious suggestions only please! Thanks!

Look into how many children are misdiagnosed w/ ADD or ADHD in childhood who later develop bipolar disease. There are MANY and my daughter was one—find out what happened to these kids as adults in order to get a proper diagnosis. Did the ADD meds create this? Mask this? Does ADD lead to schizophrenia (her first diagnosis as an adult) or bipolar disorder?
Question: Were adults w/ serious mental illness (schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, lifelong clinical depression) misdiagnosed w/ ADD/ADHD as children?

I cannot make this 6000 letters but did you know that smiling is not always a good thing?
Some people do it when giving a speech, while others do telling a lie.Some do it as con artists.
Smiling can be a sign of dementia . So look out for smiling faces . as the song goes “Smiling faces Tell Lies”

Sriously I don’t think anyone can help you here. The questions you come up with you know you’ll def be able to do and def be interested in. I’m a psych student too… It took me MONTHS to figure out what to do my dissertation on. I had loads of ideas suggested to me but I’d always eventually hit a wall. If you’re anything like me writing 6000 words on something that doesn’t truely grip you will just be a pain in the buttocks!
Go with your own ideas… If you came up with them somewhere in there you can make them work

Here is a question way up the line for a good directive.
What persons make the best psychologists, in guidance,
curriculum, math, science, and literature, therapy, and health?
Would a module of import interesting varieties of theoreticians
give insights? I liked reading economics psychologists,
environments for education, and advertising color for a larger

I’ll just go straight into the questions by the topics you have listed:
Depression:
What age group is more affected by this mental illness?
What ethnic groups are more prone to this mental illness?
What locations within the US, have seen an increase in this diagnosis within the last two years?
Schizophrenia:
How does it make the mind so unstable?
How many people within America have been diagnosed with this disease clinically?
How many hospitals within America, specialize in this mental illness?
Smoking:
Currently, there are commercials focusing in on the “abstract long term affects of nicotine usage,” do they conduct controlled survey groups prior to placing these ads?
Currently, it is documented that X amount of teens are becoming aggressive smokers, who is researching this information?
Currently, it is being advertised that women who become pregnant might have a great chance of having a child with certain abnormalities, is there research information out there that proves this to be true?
Obesity:
Who does it affect?
Who are the most likely people to become obese?
Who has been able to develop a stratgy that targets these people more prone to becoming obese?
Body Esteem/Body Dissatisfaction:
Does society play a major role in how individuals depict themselves as supposedly being?
Do males vs. females have it easier?
Does the food intake (according the the food pyramid), have adverse affects on inviduals?
Eating Disorders:
What is the gender more likely to have an eating disorder?
Are men becoming more sensitive toward societal norms of having the “perfect body?”
When did eating disorders first become noticed as a mental illness?

1)why do people use only 8% of their brains?
2)are animals really dumb or we r dumb enough to understand them and get fooled by them that they are dumb?
3)how do humans communicate by using body language!
4)is it true that people often die because they lack courage and determination?(ex-if a snake bites,,a man will die faster if he is scared because his heart beats faster and so the poison will spread faster)
5)if u can see a colour ,,and u name it red,,is it possible than i can see the same colour,,even though the name can be same,but who knows,,i may call a green colour red from my birth and u may call it red,,but u can see it red and me green,,

Dyslexia and the various affects it can have on a persons life, there are more dyslexic million airs, and yet 50 % of the prison population are dyslexic, 90% of uthe suicide in the USA had learning difficulties. This subject is now moving very fast with new research on working memory
