I was just curious as to what others have done to lose weight after having a baby. And where did you’re extra skin go after losing that weight? Or does that shrink down too?

Breastfeeding! Also a big tip is to try and have three meals a day and make them healthy, it is very hard to find the time to eat when you have a newborn and you tend to grab something quick that will satisfy your hunger and that tends to be junk like chocolate biscuits etc from the cupboard. Rest when baby is resting because you become more hungry when you are tired as your body tries to find energy. Other than that you can take baby for walks in the pram. My skin went back to normal after I had by baby after a few months.

Now, decrease your calorie intake
Stop eating fast food. Stop stalking up on unhealthy junk food. Simply remove the temptation to overeat. It may take up more time, and even cost more money, to make a home-cooked meal – but it will be worth it in the long-run. You can cook up a flavorful, filling meal that’s also very nutritious instead of downing a burger and fries that have twice as many calories and won’t even satisfy your appetite. Fried foods and the like can be very addictive, so the key is to keep them out of sight and smell. If potato chips are your weakness, don’t buy them at all. You’ll likely just finish a whole bag in two days! But if the temptation is not there to begin with, you can save yourself a lot of calories.
If you don’t trust yourself to monitor your calorie intake, make a meal plan for the week. Plot out what you will eat and have a friend or family member keep you accountable for it. Planning ahead can make a big difference and prevent you from making that spontaneous run to the local fast food joint.

my baby is 2 months now and not only i’m back to my pre pregnancy weight im also loosing weight. all thanks to this chicken and ginger soup i had for a month straight (tradition), my messed up schedule (sometimes i get so busy i forget to eat), and most of all breastfeeding (:. burning 500 calories a day for doing almost nothing, my god i loooooooooove breastfeeding lol.

Eat healthy, Breastfeed and exercise. But remember you need to eat more when you are nursing or your baby will not get all that she needs. Not everyone loses weight the same, dont worry so much about losing the weight worry about keeping you and your new baby healthy.

Breastfeed and stay active I was in my pre pregnancy clothes a month after having my daughter and Looked better than I did before I had her.
